3D PRINT EXOSKELETON

Inspired by biomimicry, the 3D printed design uses laser sintering and is modeled after shark scales. Printed in one piece in 2014, the design is the first of its kind to utilize tessellated scales and a mesh skin-like base layer. The award winning design has been featured at Dutch Design Week, Eyebeam gallery during NYFW, and heralded by many for its unique contribution to advancements in 3D printed textiles.
